Adonit, a company that produces mobile device accessories -
particularly stylus - recently introduces its newest innovative product called
Adonit Jot Dash. This stylus is special because of its practicality.
As we know, the majority of stylus pens with pointed tip
usually must be connected to the devices via Bluetooth - especially those that
carry the pressure sensitivity feature, but not so for Adonit Jot Dash. This
stylus can be used on any kind of capacitive touch screen, both Android and iOS
devices, and also for any drawing and note applications.
Adonit Jot Dash can be
used easily. You only need to click the On/Off button on the back end, and then
start drawing or writing. The pointy end with a diameter of 1.9 mm will provide
a precision level that's equivalent to using a pen on paper.
Adonit Jot Dash has an
ergonomic design just like a regular pen. Its diameter is only 8.5 mm, while
the length is 141 mm, about half of the iPad Air 2's length. And its weight is
about 12 gram. Complementing its appearance is a clamp to be attached to a
shirt or pants pocket.
There is an indicator
light on the Adonit Jot Dash aluminum body that will turn green when the stylus
is in the On position. Adonit Jot Dash battery can last up to 14 hours, and the
charging process takes only 45 minutes via a USB dock. When you forget to turn
it off, this stylus will enter the auto-sleep mode after 15 minutes not in use.
Adonit has marketed the
Adonit Jot Dash for $ 50 per unit. This price is quite high for a stylus that
is not equipped with pressure sensitivity feature. However, the combination of
its practicality and precision will improve user's productivity.
