ZTE Spro 2 runs on Android OS and supports LTE connection

If you hear the name of ZTE, you might think about a smartphone or USB modem, well ... you are not wrong because indeed the ZTE is better known for those kinds of products. But do you know that this Chinese company also has portfolio for other electronic products that are also very interesting? One of them is the ZTE Spro 2, this is a unique projector which was exhibited at the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2015 and is the latest generation of ZTE Spro smart projector.

What makes it unique is that ZTE Spro 2 is a tiny projector that runs on Android operating system. Not only that, ZTE Spro 2 can also be used as a mobile WiFi hotspot device / router (MiFi) and can be used as a means for the laptop, tablet or smartphone to access the Internet. Therefore this device has a SIM card slot to be connected with the LTE network.

Although it has a relatively small size, but ZTE Spro 2 has a large battery capacity, i.e. 6,300mAh, which can provide power for 8 to 10 hours to be used as a projector and also MiFi modem at the same time.

As for projector capabilities, this device is able to reflect 120-inch display with a display quality of 720HD and light capability of 200 lumens, which is certainly enough to display multimedia content in the room or display presentation sheets in the conference room.

ZTE Spro 2 is packed with 5-inch screen and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Just like other Android devices, the ZTE Spro 2 is also able to access content from Google PlayStore.

ZTE Spro 2 is orchestrated by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor, accompanied with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity. Besides being able to be a projector and a MiFi device to accommodate 10 users, this device can run Android applications.

According to the ZTE USA website, the ZTE Spro 2 can also be connected to an LCD device or a TV through HDMI port, and has USB jack, audio port, SIM card slot and microSD slot to increase storage capacity.

Unfortunately, for now, the ZTE Spro 2 is only available for users on the Verizon network in the US (after previously on the AT & T). The device reportedly will be offered at a price of $ 599.
