As an old player in the peripherals world, Logitech seems
less aggressive in designing mechanical keyboard. So far, this Swiss
manufacturer only has two models of mechanical keyboards, the Logitech G710+
and G910 Orion Spark. Just compare it with CM Storm which has a series of
mechanical keyboards for different types of consumers.
But the Logitech fans can now smile, because Logitech has
just introduced a new mechanical keyboard called Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn. This
keyboard is not only unique because of its compact body, but also because it
brings mechanical switches that are designed by Logitech itself.
Behind each of Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn's key, there is a
Romer-G mechanical switch. These switches are claimed to have actuation that's
25 percent faster than other mechanical keyboards so that the responsively is
more guaranteed. At the same time, the Romer-G switches are also believed to be
40 percent more durable than other mechanical switches, approximately up to 70
million times of presses.
Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn has dimension of 39 x 21 x 3.5 cm,
and weighs about 765 grams. This keyboard can be compact due to the absence of
numpad on the right side, makes it ideal for gamers who often follow the
tournaments. As a sweetener, each key is equipped with blue backlight with
adjustable brightness levels.
Furthermore, Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn is also equipped with
Arx Control dock that can be pulled out of the keyboard, and placed anywhere on
the table. The dock serves as a holder for smartphone or tablet that's
displaying a variety of important information related to games that are played
through the companion app for Android or iOS.
According to the plan the Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn will be
launched in September at a price of $ 130.
