Google has inserted new capability for Android based
devices, where users can now send instant messages only through voice command
(Google Voice Command).
If previously this feature is applied only to send a message
via SMS, email, or Hangout app, but now this feature can also be used to send messages
using third-party's instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Viber,
Telegram, WeChat and NextPlus.
With this new feature, user will only need to say a command
such as "Ok Google, send whatsapp to Thomas", then the Android device
will provide WhatsApp's message column which can also be pronounced in the form
of voice. After that the user can give voice command to send the message.
Likewise for other instant messaging applications, user only
needs to say "Ok Google, send Viber to Antonio" or "Ok Google,
send telegrams to Tyra".
Unfortunately, for this moment the spoken message can only
be recognized properly if the user uses English language, but Google promises
that it will provide support for other languages in the future.
To be able to use this feature, you should install the new
version of Google App application that can be downloaded through Google Play,
and the latest updates of each instant messaging application you want to use.
Currently this feature only supports WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram,
WeChat and NextPlus, but in the near future Google will also support other
instant messaging applications, as well as additional languages to be able to
enjoy this feature optimally.
