Everyone knows that Evernote can be used freely. This
cloud-based note-taking service has been operating for almost seven years since
it was first launched in open beta version in the mid of 2008, and its user
base is quite big now.
Along with the free version, Evernote also offers a Premium
package with a subscription fee. The advantages of Evernote Premium compared to
Evernote Basic is the large upload capacity per month, plus the ability to
provide annotations on PDF files that are attached or access the notes in
previous version.
Previously, the maximum upload limit per month for Evernote
Premium was 1 GB, but Evernote has revised it; now the Evernote Premium users
can upload without limit on each month. As a comparison, Evernote Basic only
offers a maximum upload capacity of 60 MB per month.
This means that all the records, online research, group
discussion and presentation data can be stored in one place, without limitation
capacity. Evernote Premium now can also accommodate a large size file,
precisely up to 200 MB.
The addition of capacity also leads to the increase of
subscription rate. Evernote Premium subscription is now priced at $ 6 per
month, or $ 50 per year. Users who already subscribe to Evernote Premium before
this change applied will get old price for one year ahead.
In addition to updating the Premium package, Evernote also
introduces a new paid package called Evernote Plus. Evernote Plus is positioned
right between Evernote Basic and Evernote Premium; it reaches wider users with
more affordable pricing.
At a cost of $ 3 per month or $ 25 per year, the users of
Evernote Plus will get a maximum upload capacity of 1 GB per month. This
package also allows users to access the notes in Evernote offline, plus change
the email into a note in the users' Evernote accounts. You can see the details
and the comparison of each package on Evernote official website.
