The achievement of the Bluetooth speaker, Beats Pill, was
quite phenomenal: since it was launched in 2012, more than 1 million speaker
units had been sold out! Now, under the banner of Apple, Beats by Dr. Dre
finally unveils the successor of its flagship Bluetooth speaker. Named Beats Pill +, there are a number of interesting changes that have been given to this
speaker, one of them is its design. Now the design is more minimalist, making
it in harmony with Apple's products such as the MacBook Air and Apple TV.
The size is also slightly thicker, which is claimed will
produce a more powerful sound reproduction. The control buttons are now located
on the top, complete with LED battery indicator. Unfortunately there is no
information which says that the speaker is waterproof or not.
The battery resistance is estimated can reach 12 hours.
Because Beats is now a part of Apple, then you can charge this speaker by using
the Lightning cable, and the process only requires approximately 3 hours.
Uniquely, Beats Pill + can also function as a power bank thanks to the presence
of a USB port in the back.
In addition to new hardware, Beats Pill + also presents new
software. The companion app will be available for Android and iOS, and one of
the excellent features is the capability to connect two Beats Pill + speakers
simultaneously in order to form a stereo audio system anywhere you want. Beats
Pill + will be available starting next month for $ 230. It is available only in
two colors: black or white.
