As promised by Sony through its tweet last week, Monday
(08/03/2015) local time, Sony officially introduces its new smartphone, Xperia C5 Ultra or also known as Lavender.
As the name suggests, Xperia C5 Ultra does have a ultra body
with a 6-inch Full HD screen. Luckily Sony carries barely visible bezel design
so that even though it's big, but the Xperia C5 Ultra still looks slim and
feels comfortable to be gripped with one hand.
Another advantage lies in the camera part, where Sony is
pinning duo 13MP sensor module for the back and front cameras. The Xperia C5
Ultra is getting more special because its cameras are using Exmor RS sensor
module which is one of the most advanced sensor from Sony. The cameras also
bring some advanced technologies such as HDR for photos and video, and the
ability to analyze and adjust the camera settings automatically.
The front camera has special features, including additional
Selfie Flash to take photos with the right light, and a 22mm wide angle lens to
capture a wider object.
Xperia C5 Ultra is supported by Mediatek MT6752 chipset
which brings Octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal
memory, and ARM Mali-T760MP2 GPU. In addition, this smartphone runs on Android
OS, v5.0 (Lollipop) and has supported the 4G LTE for super fast internet
connection.
Sony offers the Xperia C5 Ultra in two variants: single and
dual SIM. This smartphone comes in several color choices: black, white and
glossy soft mint.
