From Fujifilm explanation, the X-T1 IR specification almost resembles to the standard version. Although this Tokyo-based company hasn't released the official picture of this camera, but it's likely that the appearance won't be much different from the X-T1. The X-T1 IR is constructed with magnesium metal material via die-cast; it's formulated to be resistant to extreme weather, humid, and dusty.

The basic difference of X-T1 IR lies in a comprehensive infrared technology in it. It means that the doctors can utilize X-T1 IR for monitoring and diagnosing patients, or the law enforcements can use its infrared mode to investigate the crime scene.

A number of features such as night vision and the support of silence electronic shutter allow the X-T1 IR to help the investigators to conduct surveillance. In the photography world, the infrared technology is able to produce unique and super-artistic landscapes images.

Fujifilm X-T1 IR is powered by EXR Processor II and APS-C X-Trans CMOS II 16.3-megapixel; has 200-6400 ISO range, extended 100, 12800, 25600 and auto; equipped with the capability to record full-HD video from 24fps to 60fps.
