After briefly appearing in the Swiss retail site, Tuesday
(04/08/2015) local time, BlackBerry officially introduced the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition.
Basically, the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition and
BlackBerry Passport are the same type of device. There are only some minor
differences in the design. BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is framed with
stainless steel material to provide additional strength and durability.
The cutting-edge design presents many advantages in terms of
appearance and comfort. At the rear, you will see additional diamond pattern
and grip; it provides beauty and comfortable sensation when held.
Other improvements are given on the keyboard to increase the
speed of typing, along with an increase in the front and rear cameras so that
both components are better protected.
Just like the original variant, BlackBerry Passport Silver
Edition carries a 4.5 inch screen with the visual quality of 1440 x 1440 pixels
and a pixel density of 453dpi. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is provided to
protect the screen from the scratches.
BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition still uses the Qualcomm's
Snapdragon 801, 2.2 GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB
internal memory, and microSD capacity up to 128GB.
