No doubt that the presence of iPod has revolutionized the
way people listen to music. First launched in 2001, Apple has changed the way
people to store and enjoy the music.
Although the old variants are no longer produced and
marketed by Apple, but the iPod line still offers some variants that can be
purchased by their fans. iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano and iPod Touch are three
variants of the iPod that are now available again in the market, and the good
news is Apple has just released the latest series of the three iPod.
iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano become two cheapest variants of
Apple's music player you can have. They come in a variety of colors: Space
Gray, Blue, Silver, Red and Pink, Apple also adds gold color in order to align
with the Macbook and iPhone lines.
Both iPod still comes with the same specifications, with a
capacity of 2 GB the iPod Shuffle can be brought with a price of $ 49, while
the iPod Nano with a capacity of 16 GB can be obtained at a price of $ 149.
iPod Touch may be the most advanced type of iPod you can
have. With a 4-inch touchscreen display, you not only can store and enjoy
music, but also playing games or surfing by using WiFi connection. The gold
color variant is added to the iPod Touch line, and not only that, Apple also
increases the specification of iPod Touch.
Apple provides 64 bit A8 processor which is also found in
the iPhone 6. This upgrade is certainly surprising because in the previous
series Apple only gave A5 processor. The other upgrade can be seen in the
iSight camera component where Apple replaces it with 8MP resolution from the
5MP in the previous generation.
To be more satisfied in storing music, videos, applications,
and games on the iPod Touch, Apple releases the iPod Touch with a storage
capacity of up to 128 GB. Here is the list of iPod Touch prices:
16 GB: $ 199
32 GB: $ 249
64 GB: $ 299
128 GB: $ 399
